Juan Carlo "“El Matador"” Mortensen (* 13 April 1972 in Ambato) is a US American of professional Pokerspieler.

Mortensen pulled into the late 1990ern of Spain into the USA around Poker to play. Its largest profit was 2001 the World Series OF Poker with 1,5 million US Dollar prize money. 2004 it won a tournament of the World Poker route with 1 million US Dollar prize money.

It is married with Cecilia Reyes, likewise a professional Pokerspielerin.
