La of the Jeux (short FdJ) is the national Lotto company of France. With a conversion of 8.553 billion euro (2004) it is world-wide the fifth-largest Veranstalterin of Lotterien. There is altogether over 40.000 sales offices, on the average participates 29 million player in the drawings, the play system is "“6 from 49"”. FdJ takes part also in the European Lotterie euro million.

FdJ operates also all sport bets in France, with exception that horse running, which fall into the scope of responsibility of the private society PMU. The obtained profit (in the year 2004 there was 2.33 billion euro) flows completely into the French treasury. The money benefits cultural as well as social projects and also for the promotion of young people in the sport is used. Beyond that FdJ is the main sponsor of the cycle racing team of the same name.
