Johnny Chan (* 1957 in Guangzhou, China) is an US-American Pokerspieler.

Chan came over Hong Kong and Phoenix 1973 to Houston. At the age of 21 years it broke its study off at the University OF Houston and worked in the hotel and restaurant management. Center of the 1980er years went to to Chan read Vegas over as Profipokerspieler its money to earn.

1987 and 1988 Chan world champion, 1989 had it only Phil Hellmuth struck to give oneself. Altogether it could win 10 tournaments of the World Series OF Poker. Thus is Chan as well as Doyle Brunson record owner. 2002 it taken up to the Poker resound to OF Fame.
