A Klassenlotterie is a Lotterie, with which the play time area is divided into classes so mentioned.

History

The class system was introduced 1721 to Hamburg, whereby there were Lotterien already before. A lot edition covered 40,000 pieces and it in 10 classes was won. In the year 1763 there was a Klassenlotterie with 20.000 lots in the Prussian cure Mark to 5 Taler each. The maximum gain under the 10,000 profits were 6,000 Taler. The selling of the lots took over municipal authorities of the cities and the post offices.

Toward end 19. Century were there altogether 7 competitive Klassenlotterien in the realm area at that time. 1938 was summarized all Lotteriegesellschaften (including the Austrian Klassenlotterie) by the governing national socialists in the German Reichslotterie and thus coordinated.

1947 developed then the Klassenlotterien northwestGerman Klassenlotterie and South German Klassenlotterie.

Classes

The classes mark particulars, sequential and one on the other developing time periods of a total clearance, the running time of a Lotterie.
