The NKL northwestGerman Klassenlotterie (short NKL) was created in the 1947 and is the state lottery of the German Lands of the Federal Republic Berlin, Brandenburg, free Hanseatic city Bremen, free one and Hanseatic city Hamburg, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Lower Saxony, North Rhine-Westphalia, Saarland, Saxonia-Anhalt and Schleswig-Holstein, whereby the Saarland and Berlin, Brandenburg, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and Saxonia-Anhalt 1990 joined 1960. The first drawing took place on 28 April 1948.

The NKL is a joint own establishment of public right of the aforementioned countries. It has its seat in Hamburg.

Although the lots are driven out only by the nationally certified Lotterie incomes from the carrier countries, there are no restrictions, which concern the residence for the playing express takers of the NKL - in contrast for instance to the Lotto "„6 from 49 "“-.

The profits are fixed in a profit plan. The execution of the Lotterie stands under national supervision.

Expiration of a Lotterie

The expiration follows the rules of a Klassenlotterie. One plays in 6 classes, which take one month in each case. The total duration of a Lotterie amounts to thus a half year. Lotteriestart is in each case 1 April and 1 October.

Daily money drawings take place. Beyond that there is a special drawing once per month.

By the purchase of a lot or a partial lot with imprinted seven-place profit number the Spielerin receives and/or the players its participation authorization at the bet. The different profit classes specify the height of the disbursement from the beginning. The NKL uses a drawing plant, which works according to the coincidence principle for the determination of the profit numbers. Is pulled 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 - or 7-digit profit numbers. If the final numbers (Endziffernlotterie) of the own lot agree and/or the complete ticket numbers with the pulled profit numbers, then the respective Spielerin won and/or the respective player.
