Play 77 is a Zusatzlotterie, which is accomplished in the German Lotto and Totoblock on two days (Wednesday and Saturday) per week.

With each drawing is drawn a 7-digit number (from 0000000 to 9999999) as profit number. The profit results then from the ticket number, which must agree with the profit number. The profit class results from the number of agreeing numbers (from right).

Play 77 can be played only in connection with the participation in the Lotto.

History

The predecessor was the "“olympia Lotterie in such a way specified"”, which was brought 1967 - like also the luck spiral - for the financing of the olympic summer games 1972 in Munich as Endziffernlotterie four digit into being. 1974 were adjusted the olympia Lotterie and play 77 stepped in their place.

On 1 January 1975 the Endziffernlotterie play 77 was introduced by the Lotteriegesellschaften into North Rhine-Westphalia and Bremen. The societies of the other Lands of the Federal Republic followed gradually.

From the success of play 77 later also the Endziffernlotterie super 6 develops.
