Roulette systems are methods, which are to obtain a systematic profit with Roulette. To develop such systems there are attempts for over 250 years. Durable winning with Roulette is not possible.

Practically successful Roulette systems use statistic deviations, about boiler errors. A Roulettetisch must be for a long time evaluated, around to recognize which numbers over-frequently to come. Due to mechanical manufacturing tolerances no table is stochastically perfect. Further methods practiced use lasers for the measurement of the number of revolutions.

Players, who use such methods, often receive house prohibition and change then into the next casino with the same work method.

The most well-known system is doubling the employments after loss on the simple chances black/red, Pair/Impair and Manque/passport (Martingalespiel). Although this system leads the player after a certain time inevitably into the ruin, it is strange to say the most popular Roulette system. The player can never win thereby more than the height of the first employment.

Selection of the correct standard bet

Although at first sight all standard bets have to each other a balanced employment profit relationship, there are differences on the second view.

These result from special arrangements, which introduced the play aligners (gaming houses, clubs) (deviating from the classical Roulettespielregel, which created the brothers Blanc and Louis Blanc in Europe) and they result from play-usual deliveries on certain groups of chances.

  • With bets on individual numbers (polarize in) in case of a profit it is expected that the winner leaves the gaming house employee a simple employment with the Plein and/or a half simple employment with bets on two numbers lying side by side (Cheval) as tip. In the "“classical play"” (also: "“Large play"”) is usually collected the tip in a special container at the table, called Tronc. With the "“automat play"” (also: "“Small play"”) takes place the Troncabzug in the case of a hit automatically. The profit reduces thereby to the 34-fache of the employment.

The employment profit relationship worsens thus around 2.7% with employments on "“polarize in"” compared with other standard bets.

  • With bets on "“simple chances"” (red, black, straight lines, odd, Manque or passport) the rule applies to European play aligners that with appearance of the 0 (Zero) or the 00 (Doppelzero) the employment is not lost completely in the classical play compared with the standard bets; it is subject to the so-called "“blockage"”, with that half of the employment for the following number drawing as "“closed"” employment on the respective chance remains and in the case of a hit again in full height at the play participates (or the player lets "“divide"” and he keeps half of the employment without participation disbursed at the subsequent drawing, which remains other employment half with the bank). This special arrangement improves the employment profit relationship around 1,35% for "“simple chances"” in the "“classical play"” (mechanical of Roulette at croupierbedienten tables), not however in the "“Automatenroulette"” (half or fully automatic Computerroulette with or without croupierbedientem boiler), where the principle of the total loss is generally pre-programmed with appearance of the 0 or the 00. The participation to Roulette in the "“automat play"” with Zero and Doppelzero means a risk than in, higher around 4,05%, for the player the "“classical play"” with a Zero.

Regarding the special rule-conditioned conditions the profit loss relationship is in the "“classical play"” on "“simple chances"” thus mathematically causes more favourably than on all other chances, while this is not in the "“automat play"” the case.

Since both in the "“classical play"”, and in the "“automat play"” the Troncabzug takes place on Pleintreffern, the expectations of profit are lowest with standard bets in each case with employments on "“polarize in"”.

Thus arises,

  • that the participation in the "“automat play"” is more unfavorable in each case than in the "“classical play"”, due to the Zeroregelung which are missing there.
  • that standard bets are mathematically more unfavorable on "“polarize in"” and "“Chevals"” than on all other chances.

One should consider this computationally indisputable fact in particular also with the combination, which consists to a certain extent of several standard bets, as here the bundling of standard bets on a "“simple chance"” (e.g. Manque or passport) can result in a strategy advantage.
