Sic Bo, also Dai Siu, Big and small, Chuck A luck, Grand Hazard, Birdcage or rear Lo is a cube gambling with three cubes, which is gladly played in the Casinos by Macao and in the USA and now also in the European gaming houses became domestic.

Sic Bo spread possibly from Shanghai in China and is at the beginning 20. Century brought by Chinese emigrants into the United States.

The rules

The players transact their employments on a tablet, afterwards the Croupier turns a cage-similar container (Birdcage), in which three cubes are enclosed. Are if the cubes please, the Croupier types the thrown eye numbers on a keyboard, and the fields with the attractive bets light up. Losses will become drawn in, profits paid off and a new coup begin.

The offer

Big and Small

The bets on a low and/or high eye sum the play owes to one of its many names, then Sic Bo in the famous Casino Lisboa in Macao, the Monte Carlo of the far east, Big and is called small and/or Chinese Dai Siu. A further apparently Chinese name of the play is rear Lo, which shows the English root High Low easily.

Big and Small are similar simple chances, to passport and Manque with Roulette; with a bank advantage of 2,78% these rank among the most promising bets:

With Small one bets on the fact that the eye sum is smaller or alike to 10 and none tripolarizes is thrown; similarly one bets with Big on the fact that the eye sum is larger or alike to 11 and none tripolarizes falls.

Specific tripolarizes: One sets e.g. 2-2-2 on a certain Tripel; Disbursement 190 to 1; Bank advantage 11.6%.

Any tripolarizes: One bets that three equal eye numbers are thrown; Disbursement 33 to 1; Bank advantage 5.6%.

Specific double: One bets that a certain eye number on two cubes appears; Disbursement 11 to 1; Bank advantage 11.1%.

Domino combi nation: One bets on two determined eye numbers and wins, if both eye numbers are thrown; Disbursement 6 to 1; Bank advantage 2.8%.

Totally Sum CombinationMan bets here on the eye sum of the three cubes; it applies

  • Eye sum 4: Disbursement 65 to 1, bank advantage 8.3%
  • Eye sum 5: Disbursement 33 to 1, bank advantage 5.6%
  • Eye sum 6: Disbursement 19 to 1, bank advantage 7.4%
  • Eye sum 7: Disbursement 12 to 1, bank advantage 9.7%
  • Eye sum 8: Disbursement 8 to 1, bank advantage 12.5%

  • Eye sum 15: Disbursement 19 to 1, bank advantage 7.4%
  • Eye sum 16: Disbursement 33 to 1, bank advantage 5.6%
  • Eye sum 17: Disbursement 65 to 1, bank advantage 8.3%

The disbursement ratios of the total sum combination are different from Casino to Casino, the above table correspond to the regulation of the Austrian gaming houses.

Single those

With the bet on single the old Grand Hazard or Chuck lives on the A luck (dt. about "luck throw"). One sets here on a certain eye number, e.g. 5; if this eye number appears on a cube, then one wins simply, appears the occupied eye number on two cubes, then one wins doubly, and in the lucky case that the eye number on all three cubes appears, one wins 12:1, the bank advantage amounts to here 3.70%.

With the classical Chuck A luck - and in particular into the Casinos of Atlantic town center and read Vegas - one receives a 3:1 - profit in place of a 12:1 - in the case of a Tripels of the set number only profit, from which a bank advantage of 7,9% results. Also with the other bets the American gaming houses offer mostly substantially lower profit margins than the European Casinos.
