The South German Klassenlotterie (short SKL) was created 1947 as South German Klassenlotterie in the US zone and is the state lottery of the German Lands of the Federal Republic Baden-Wuerttemberg, Bavaria, Hessen, Rhineland-Palatinate, Saxonia and Thuringia, whereby Saxonia and Thuringia joined 1990. It started on 10 September 1947 with 140.000 lots and a maximum gain of 250.000 realm Marks.
The SKL is an institute of public right of the aforementioned countries. It has its seat in Munich.
Although the lots are driven out only by the nationally certified Lotterie incomes from the carrier countries, there are no restrictions, which concern the residence for the playing express takers of the SKL - in contrast for instance to the Lotto "6 from 49 "-.
The profits are fixed in a profit plan. The execution of the Lotterie stands under national supervision.
The expiration follows the rules of a Klassenlotterie. One plays in 6 classes, which take one month in each case. The total duration of a Lotterie amounts to thus a half year. Lotteriestart is in each case 1 June and 1 December.
In each class daily drawings take place, whereby the main drawings in such a way specified only in the 6. Class take place.
By the purchase of a lot or a partial lot with imprinted profit number of several characters the Spielerin receives and/or the players its participation authorization at the bet. The different profit classes specify the height of the disbursement in the Vorherein. The SKL determines the profit numbers according to the coincidence principle. Is pulled 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 - or 7-digit profit numbers. If the final numbers (Endziffernlotterie) of the own lot agree and/or the complete ticket numbers with the pulled profit numbers, then the respective Spielerin won and/or the respective player.
